David and the prayer of Psalm 142

In 1Samuel 22, we discover David fleeing from King Saul and hiding in the cave of Adullam. Alone, scared, and confused, David prays to God, and we are blessed with the writing of Psalm 142.
We will take a look at what lessons we can learn from David about prayer, as he is in one of his most desperate moments of life. We will respond to several objections and reasons given as to why people do not pray, including:
•No one hears my prayers; there is no God
•I don’t want to be selfish
•I’m too busy
•God is impotent
