Waiting on the Lord is Kingly behavior

Waiting is difficult. We don't like waiting; we are impatient people who want things now. In 1Samuel 24, David teaches us that it is always best to wait on God to bring about his promises in his timing. There are many reasons why we struggle with God's timing and trusting God's promises but we must overcome our doubts if we are to live in the true peace of God. Let's see what King David has to teach us about waiting on God.
