Jesus most famous sermon is called "The Sermon on the Mount." It contains teachings referred to as the Beatitudes. The Beatitudes are eight blessings Jesus gave as recorded in Matthew 5:3-12.
These teachings summarize the character qualities of a citizen of God’s kingdom of Heaven. Each blessing offers a radically counter-cultural vision of true, lasting joy.
