Revival
Everyday I meet people who say, “I feel dead inside,” “There is something missing,” or “I just don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing.” These feelings are common for both believers and non-Christians. Like creek beds that were meant to carry water, our souls can dry up and leave us feeling empty. Where once life flourished in a flowing stream, now there resides only signs of past beauty and possibility. The good news is that we serve the God who loves to bring the dead back to life.
Jesus claimed to be the “living water,” (John 7:37-39) and that he would give this gift to anyone who repented of sin and followed him. This moment of life-restoration is called Revival which comes from the Hebrew word chayah, meaning to make alive or restore. To revive someone is to bring them back to life, to restore them, or wake someone up. Revival is work done by the Holy Spirit that moves sleeping believers back to a healthy, intimate, passionate, growing relationship with Him. It is when those distant from God and dead inside experience an awakening to the presence and power of God. Revival is us all repenting of sin, turning back to God, and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Join us September 6- October 18 for 6 Weeks of “Revival” series as we invite God to revive us in three ways:

- Revive us personally and move us closer to Him,
- Revive our church community so that we reflect the light of God in the Enon- Fairborn area,
- Revive those who are distant, dead, and lost, so that they may receive the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
