Our Story

How it all started...

In 2019, after nearly twenty years of ministry Sarah and Aaron began to feel called by God to launch a new church.  Faith Ignited started with twelve people meeting in a living room praying for God's guidance and direction on what the new church should be.   What would it mean to be part of a community for the hurting, the lost, the wondering and those who have been hurt by religion? Could a church be founded on one guiding question, "What does love require in this situation?" Our first formal service took place outdoors on Easter 2019.  From that moment on Faith Ignited has grown and equipped its member to think critically about important things and care for what Jesus loves.  We like to think of ourselves as a hospital for sinners that helps people move toward Jesus and a mission preparation and training site that equips people to go into the world and move people closer to Jesus.

Expanding the vision...

Jesus taught that the most important commandment and that which all others hinge upon is, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.," (Mark 12:30).
We believe that loving God with all our mind means that we think critically about important things.  At Faith Ignited we are not afraid to ask difficult question and search the scripture for answers.
We believe that loving God with all our soul means being open to the leading of the Holy Spirit and surrendering control of our lives to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
Loving God with all our heart is by love God first, then loving others and ourselves.  We teach this by encouraging others to ask one guiding question, "What does love require in this situation?"

Where we are headed...

At Faith Ignited we believe that Jesus is the only hope for the world.
Our goal is to share the message of grace because God wants all people to have a healthy, intimate, passionate, growing, relationship with Him.
"God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth," (1 Timothy 2:4).
