King David Repents

The Hebrew word "Pesha" is often translated as "transgression." "Pesha," is described as the betrayal of a relationship—a willful rupture of trust between two parties who should be faithful to one another. When we sin, we "Pesha".
In 2 Samuel 12, David has committed "Pesha" against God. The contrast between how David responds when the prophet Nathan confronts David and how King Saul responds when the prophet Samuel confronts him is a vivid picture of why David is a man after God's own heart. When a Christian sins, they are filled with regret and they repent of their "Pesha."
