Worship unifies us for the Kingdom of God work

One of the best life lessons we learn from King David is how to worship. In 2 Samuel chapter 6, we see that David does not care about what other people think as he worships God. The chapter begins with David failing to be obedient to God, and obedience is an act of worship. Finally, we see David's wife trying to create division within the community because she is not participating in the worship of God.

Worship is one of the great unifying forces in the church. At the foot of the cross, we all lay down our ego and declare we need Jesus.
