Jesus was sinless

One of the core doctrines of the church that is under attack is the sinlessness of Jesus (the belief that Jesus was without sin). Jesus was tempted in every way, but never committed a sin.

False teachers want to bring Jesus down by making him sinful, able to error, and thus no longer God. If Jesus is not sinful he is not able to make atonement for our sins. Beware of bad theology and false teachers.

Hebrews 7:26: Describes Jesus as "holy, harmless, undefiled, and separate from sinners." 1 Peter 1:19: Describes Jesus as "as of a lamb without blemish and without spot"
