Our thoughts determine our behavior. Incorrect thinking leads to incorrect behavior. Incorrect thinking about God leads to a broken relationship with God. In the second chapter of Ephesians, Paul is building on the idea that we have been adopted into the family of God from Chapter 1. In the second chapter, we begin to understand how our thinking should be transformed by grace which will result in a change of behavior as children so richly blessed by the mercy of God.
