Under Christ's authority we handle conflict differently
Nov 4, 2026
When Christ is King of our lives, we handle conflict differently. In Acts 15, we encounter a deep division between Paul and Barnabas. In this text, we discover a model for how the church should manage conflict differently from the world.
Five rules for managing conflict from the book of Acts:
1. It is ok to disagree.
2. Paul did not hold a grudge:
3. Neither side of the disagreement spoke or wrote anything negative about the other.
4. Paul and Barnabas remained friends and co-workers. Colossians 4:10
5. The Gospel message was more important than their disagreement and feelings.
