Ever feel like God can't use you, or that you have no future?
Don't believe Satan's lie.
Our history, recorded in the Bible, is full of stories of men and women who did not believe that God could or would use them.
Right now you may feel and think that you are not fit to follow Jesus and lead others towards him. That is simply not true. God doesn't call perfect people to follow him. He calls people who struggle, who mess it up, and even rebel. The difference is that some people are defined by their failures. Followers of Jesus are defined by their repentant heart's, humble submission to God's will, and the grace that they live into.
This summer as we journey through the Old Testament we will discover stories recording God’s holiness and faithfulness in spite of the failure and folly of humanity. In a sense, the Old Testament can be viewed as God’s resume, with God providing evidence for His credibility, and His ability to keep his promises and covenants, while choosing to use fault-filled creatures to continue His good work.
