Faith Ignited

Faith Ignited is a community of people seeking to move toward Jesus and answer life's most difficult questions.  
At Faith Ignited  people can meet Jesus,  and engage in life-giving community where  everyone is welcome.
We believe our mission to help people think critically about important things and care for what Jesus loves.  
We are seeking to create a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, learn to see the world through a Biblical lenses,  discover their gifts and use them for God's glory.

Ever wonder what makes Christianity different from all other religions?
First and foremost, Christianity stands on a bedrock of historical evidence and logical reasoning.  Secondly, Jesus claimed to be God, rose from the dead and is a living God able to intervene on our behalf.  
Thirdly, Christianity is solely based on God's grace.  We cannot earn God's love or save ourselves from sin.  Jesus did not want Heaven without us, so He became human and gave His life as a ransom for ours.  
All other religions are based on some form of works related salvation.  Most of them include something about Jesus and...  Jesus and works...  Jesus and doing...  This means that the sacrifice of Jesus was not sufficient on its own.  
The Biblical message of hope is that Jesus died not to make people nicer, but to save us from sin.  The unmerited gift of salvation is grace.  
The Apostle Paul wrote, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast," (Ephesians 2:8-9).
